William Neal Self

Mr. William Neal Self, age 77, of Big Sandy, TN, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 in Nashville, TN. He was born on April 26, 1943 in Blytheville, AR, to the late Andrew Self and Willie Scott Self. He joined the U.S Navy on July 14, 1961 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a self-employed HVAC technician before joining the Local IBEW in 1979.  He retired April 30, 2005 as a master electrician. He loved to crappie fish, travel, and researching his family tree. Mr. Self was a member of the American Legion, and a mason.

Daughters:  Mona Smith (Mike) of Lake City AR.

                  Andrea Thompson (Scott) of Monette, AR.

Grandchildren: Aaron Smith (Lindsey), Amanda Carter (Josh).

Great Grandchildren: Colton Butler, Caitlyn Butler, Presley Smith, Layla Smith

Nephew, Nieces, and a host of many cousins, and friends that thought a lot of him.

Memorial visitation will be held at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home Big Sandy Chapel, from 10:00-12:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
