Vera Irene Hayes

Ms. Vera Irene Hayes, age 102, of Springfield, TN, formerly of Benton County, TN, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at The Waters of Robertson, in Springfield, TN.  She was born to the late Paul L. and Hattie Vann Patterson in Madison County, AL.  Ms. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dewey Hayes, a son, Jimmy Hayes and a daughter, Joyce Batts.  Her sisters: Bertie Salsberg, Margaret Solmon, Helen Arbuckle, Mildred Patterson and a brother, James Patterson have also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Grandchildren: Jimmy Wayne Hayes Jr., Susan Dietsch, Madeline Balthrop, and Katie Beth Richter

There will be a graveside service at Benton Memory Gardens in Camden, TN, at 1 PM, on Saturday, November 28, 2020, with Bro. Ken Zike officiating.
