Valta Mason Butcher

Mr. Valta Mason Butcher, age 77, of Big Sandy, TN. passed away on January 14, 2020 at his residence in Big Sandy, TN. Mr. Butcher was born on June 22, 1942 in McMinnville, TN. to the late Valta Butcher and Elsie Lawson Butcher. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Annie Lucille Butcher Romans, Melba Jean Butcher Hudson, Betty Joe Butcher Burns, Billy Butcher, Linda Butcher, Leroy H. Butcher and Douglas Butcher. He was a retired material handler with General Motors and a member of the UAW in Ohio and Michigan.

Survivors include:

Wife: Joyce Butcher of Big Sandy, TN.

Son: Michael Butcher Sr. of Big Sandy, TN.

Grandchildren: Maylea and Michael Jr.

Brothers & Sisters: Gary (Trish) Butcher, Waymon Butcher,

                             James (Carolyn) Butcher, Sandy & Alvin C Shelton   

The family has chosen cremation.
