Shirley Ann Forsythe Dobra

Ms. Shirley Ann Forsythe Dobra, age 84, of Big Sandy, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on August 21, 1936, in Miston, TN to the late John and Amaryllis Sutton Scott.  She was preceded in death by husbands, Lester W. Forsythe and George P. Dobra; grandson, Kevin Orr; brothers; Butch Scott, Bill Scott, Kenny Scott, Fred Owen Scott, and Roy Lee Scott, sisters; Madgeline Scott, Mary Lou Boyle, Sara Ruth Crossnoe, Mae Henry Prater, and Virginia Scott.  She retired from Henry County Medical Center and was a member of Baker’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Also survived by sister-in-law, Opal Scott and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 1PM, at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home, Big Sandy, TN, with Bro. Keith Nation officiating and burial to follow in Baker’s Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be on February 18, 2021, from 10AM-1PM, at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN.
