Rickey Earnest Powers

Mr. Rickey Earnest Powers, age 72 of Big Sandy, TN passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Powers was born on January 30, 1947 in Trumann, AR to the late Louis Powers and Hazel Parks Powers. He was also preceded in death by a brother Randy Powers. Mr. Powers was a retired mechanic with the City of Memphis and a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran and loved to fish.

Wife: Mary Powers of Big Sandy, TN

Son: Lee (Lisa) Powers of Hardin County, TN

Sister: Pam Dowdy (Doug) Curry of Byhalia, MS

Grandchildren: Aaron (Candice) Robison, Erica (Skylar) Powers, Gordon Powers

Six Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at Parker’s Crossroads with Bro. Greg Hauck officiating.
