Lura Dean Clayton

Mrs. Lura Dean Berry Clayton, age 82, of Big Sandy, Tn., passed away on April 20, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Clayton was born on January 5, 1937 in Camden, Tn. to the late Roy D. Berry and Lorene Lowry Berry. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Wayne Clayton, and grandson Sonny Melton.She was a member of Ramble Creek Baptist Church in Big Sandy, TN. Mrs. Clayton was Lloyd’s Cowgirl. She also enjoyed gardening, yardwork, scrap booking with friends, sewing and quilting.

Daughters: Donna (Richard) Plumley of Knoxville, Tn.

                  Susan Melton of Big Sandy, Tn.

Brothers: Carlton (Betty) Berry of Big Sandy, Tn.

                Johnny (Kim) Berry of Big Sandy, Tn

Grandchildren: Amanda (Joey) Barbarito

                       Doug Plumley

                       Jake (Katie) Melton

Great Grandchildren: Lucas, Lucie, Ezra, Lyla, Zeke, Alexa, Ryan, Serena

Grand Daughter in law: Heather Melton

Visitation will be on Monday April 22, 2019 from 5PM until 8PM and again on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 10AM until service time at 2PM at  Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, Tn.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, Tn. with Bro. Greg Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in The Ramble Creek Cemetery in Big Sandy, Tn.
