Joseph Eric Buhl

Mr. Joseph Eric Buhl, age 70, of Big Sandy, Tn., passed away on July 21, 2020 at his residence.  Mr. Buhl was born on December 11, 1949 to the late Oscar Buhl and Louella Smith Buhl. He was also preceded in death by his brother Mack Sullivan and sister Linda Buhl. Mr. Buhl was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and a member of Ramble Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Buhl retired as a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant serving 20 years of active duty, including two tours in Vietnam. He received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, as well as many other citations.

Wife: Juanita Buhl of Big Sandy, TN.

Sons: Joseph R. (Crystal) Buhl of Big Sandy, TN.

           Jason (Valerie) Buhl of Springville, TN.

Daughters: Rita Gardner of Belvedere, NJ.

                  Lisa Buhl of Belvedere, NJ.

Brother: Harry (Lisa) Sullivan of PA.

Sister: Mary (Wayne) Reedy of FL.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN. with Bro. James Deason officiating. Burial will follow at Ramble Creek Cemetery.

Visitation with the Buhl family will be Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN. and again on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 8:00-2:00 PM
