Johnnie (John) Cleaburn Kee, age 100, of Aurora, IL, formerly of Plano, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2020. John was born November 27, 1920 in rural Benton County, TN to the late John Marshall and Era (Higdon) Kee. He joined the army at the age of 23 and served in the Philippines during WWII. John was awarded the Purple Heart after being wounded in combat. After the way John settled into working at Caterpillar and raised his family in Plano and the surrounding area. After retiring, John and wife, Mary moved to Pueblo West, CO, and spent many happy years camping with The Good Sam’s Club. After the passing of his wife, John was blessed to find love again and married Oma Kirk in 2005. They spent the next five years happily married and thankful they had found love again in the golden years of their lives.

Funeral services will be 11AM, Friday, December 4, 2020, at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden, TN, with Bro. Gary Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery.
Visitation with the Kee family will be Friday, December 4, 2020 from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM, at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden, TN
