John David Doty

Mr. John David Doty, age 85, of Lexington, TN, passed away on June 15, 2021, at home with his daughters.  He was born on February 26, 1936, in Memphis, TN, to the late Luby J. Doty, Sr. and Hazel Blaine Doty, and predeceased by a son, J. David Doty; a brother, Luby J. Doty, Jr., and a sister, JoAnn Burns.  John was a Forester with TN Department of Agriculture, a graduate of Mississippi State University, class of 1959.  He was also a member of the Rotary and the TN Forestry Association, Mississippi Forestry Association, Clan MacKenzie Society of the Americas, and Caladonian Society of Mississippi.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN, with burial to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
