Jerry Dale Farris

Jerry Dale Farris, 74 of Big Sandy, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Mr. Farris was born on March 11, 1948 in Big Sandy, TN to the late Earlie Lee Farris and Savannah Georgia McClain Farris. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Charles Farris, Larry Farris, and Wayne “Shades” Farris.  Mr. Farris formerly worked as Deputy with the Benton County Sheriff’s Department and Camden Gravel Company.  He was a charter member of the Benton Co. Rescue Squad, former volunteer with the Camden Fire Department, and a heavy equipment operator. He loved his pets, crappie fishing, and was an avid outdoorsman.  Mr. Farris was Methodist in Faith.

Survived by: wife Kathy Farris of Big Sandy, TN; sons Chris Flowers of Humboldt, TN, Kevin Lee Farris of Franklin, TN; daughter Nicole Farris of Brandenburg, KY; sister Martha Kimbel of Paris, TN; grandchildren Olivia McCaskill, Levi Holloway . Other family members include Madison (Martin) Lowrance of Beech Bluff, TN and Callie and Case Lowrance of Beech Bluff, TN.

Memorial visitation with the Farris family will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 2:00-5:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN.
