James Elloyd Pierpoint

James Elloyd Pierpoint, 84, of Big Sandy, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.  Mr. Pierpoint was born on May 7, 1937 in Benton County, TN to the late Otto Pierpoint and Alkie Mae Melton Pierpoint.  He was also preceded by his wife Mae Merrell Pierpoint; brothers Cecil Pierpoint, Verlin Pierpoint, Melvin Pierpoint, Roy Pierpoint; sister Genevia Lowe; grandchildren Mikie, Shawn, Meagan, Jessica.  Mr. Pierpoint was retired from Ford Glass Plant in Cleveland, OH and a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church in Big Sandy, TN.

Sister: Helen Massey of Cleveland, OH

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and again on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 8:00 – 10:00 am.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:00 am at Stockdale-Malin Chapel with Bro. Joey Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the McRae’s Chapel Cemetery.
