James "Ron" Ronald Lane

James "Ron" Ronald Lane, 81, of Big Sandy, TN passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN. Mr. Lane was born on August 22, 1941 in Auburn, KY to the late J.H. “Bub” Lane and the late Adelaide Conyers Lane. Mr. Lane was retired after over 60 years from WFWL and WRJB working in all areas of the stations and was the General Manager for over 30 years. He was a partner in several stations around the Southeast and Midwest. Mr. Lane was the Mayor of Big Sandy for over 20 years. He was a member of the Camden Lions Club, Gideons and a lay speaker for the Big Sandy United Methodist Church. Mr. Lane was a huge Yankees fan.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 2 PM at Camden First Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Nation officiating.
