Gus Townzen

Mr. Gus Townzen Sr, age 95, of Camden, TN., passed away on November 4, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Townzen was born on August 29, 1923 in Hickman KY. to the late Gus Cullum Townzen and Amanda Bailey Townzen . He was also preceded in death by his wife Daria Manning Townzen, his daughter Marie Elaine Chamberlain, brothers Richard Townzen, Elmer Townzen, Carl Townzen, Chester Townzen, and his sisters, Violet Davis, Julia Wallace, Anna Mae Layton. Mr. Townzen was a member of the Camden First United Methodist Church, a member of the Camden Masonic Lodge 179, Scottish Rite & Shriner and a member of the Camden Lion's Club. He was also a retired Millwright with Granite City Steel, and a U. S. Navy Veteran.

         Chester (Grace) Townzen – Collinsville, IL.

          Gus (Kathy) Townzen – Dongola, IL.

          Leonard (Tina) Townzen – Camden,TN.

Grandchildren: John Chamberlain, Dale Chamberlain, Tricia Campbell, Lindsey Townzen, Robin Starnes, Kimberly Paris, Michael Townzen, Shawn Townzen, Cheryl Elaine Townzen, Deanna Obernuefemann, John Townzen, Nicholas Townzen

Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11 am at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden, TN. with Bro. Justin Ramer officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. 

Visitation will be on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden, TN. and will resume on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 8 am till service time at 11 am.
