Frances Ann Dowdy

Frances Ann Dowdy, 89, of Big Sandy, TN passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Dowdy was born on April 27, 1932 to the late Loin and Mary Atchison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Dowdy; sister, Joyce Ball and brother, Collier Atchison. Frances worked at Big Sandy School in the lunchroom. She loved this job and all the children dearly and worked here until her retirement.

Grandchildren: Tiffany Bullion, Pamela (Josh) Taylor, Robin (Jimmy) Turrentine

Brother: Dean Atchison of Big Sandy, TN

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN with Bro. Russell Ragsdale and Bro. Chad Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Sunday, October 24, 2021 for 10:00-2:00 pm.
