Dorothy Jane Waters

Ms. Dorothy Jane Waters, age 78 of Camden, TN., passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Chattanooga, TN. Ms. Waters was born on May 12, 1941 in Camden, TN., to the late Mitchell Waters and Mary Perkins Waters. She was also preceded in death by her brother John David “JD” Waters, sister Lunner Allen, granddaughter Alyssa Holland, sister-in-law Ann Nelson Waters and niece Susan Waters Lampley. Ms. Waters was a retired quality control inspector with Borg Warner in Schaumburg, IL. She was also a retired seamstress and beautician. 

Survivors include: 

Daughter: Selena Holland of Chattanooga, TN

Brother: Raymond Waters of Fairview, TN

Grandson: Nickalos Holland

Nephews: James Lee Waters, David Waters, Mike Waters, Westley Waters, Michael Allen

Nieces: Judy Waters Prince, Rayeanne Waters Martin

Cousins: Jimmy (Lucy) Waters, DeeDee (Billy) Woodard, Donald Waters

Private graveside services will held at Benton Memory Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Dementia Society. 

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
