Dorothy Gertrude Cornett

Ms. Dorothy Melton Cooley Cornett, age 94, formerly of Camden, TN, passed away December 1, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Union City, TN.  Dorothy was born November 4, 1926, to the late Joseph and Gertrude Forrest Melton in Benton County, TN. She was preceded in death by husbands, Hershel Cooley and James Cornett, sons; Tony Cooley, Ronny Cooley, brothers; Ford, Grady, James, Mason, and Ferrell Melton, sister; Mary Smothers, and grandson, John David Cooley. Dorothy was a retired seamstress with Genesco and a member of Flatwoods United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be Sunday, December 6, 2020, 2 PM, at Farmers Cemetery in Eva, TN with Bro Jim McKay officiating.
