Dorice Camilla Denham

Dorice Camilla Denham, 83 of Big Sandy, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at The Waters of McKenzie in McKenzie, TN.

Mrs. Denham was born November 26, 1938 in Benton County, TN to the late James Verlie Christopher and Audra Lee Wheatley Christopher. She was a member of Ramble Creek Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress with H.I.S. Corporation in Camden, TN. She also volunteered at Big Sandy School Library and studied computers at Vo-Tech School in Paris, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lawrence Denham, son Larry Denham, brother Rodney Stockdale, and a sister, Ann Sterling.

She is survived by four sons, Brad (Stasy) Denham, of Byhalia, Miss., Lindy (Linda) Denham, of Fort Worth, Texas, Jimmy (Laura) Denham, of Lexington, TN and Jerry Denham, of Vonore, TN, a daughter, Joey (Tommy) Thompson, of Cottage Grove, TN, a brother, Will (Kaye) Christopher, of Fenton, Mich., a sister, Judy Curtis, of Big Sandy, TN,  a daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Denham, of Chattanooga, TN,  16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022  at 1 p.m., at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home Chapel, Big Sandy, TN with Bro. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will follow in Denham Cemetery in Big Sandy, TN.
