Charles Marshall Pearson Sr.

Charles Marshall Pearson Sr., age 88, of Big Sandy, Tn., passed away on July 26, 2019 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Pearson was born on December 14, 1930 in Bardwell, KY. to the late Beeler Pearson and Annie Penneybaker Pearson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Maryann Crider, Donna Finch and grandchild Kristie. He was a retired boilermaker with TVA, a member of the Boilermakers Union Local 455. Mr. Pearson was also a member of Mt. Carmel Congregational Methodist Church in Big Sandy, TN. Mr. & Mrs. Pearson celebrated their 70 year wedding anniversary on April 10, 2019.

Wife: Lela Ross Pearson of Big Sandy, TN.

Daughter:  Tammy (Jim) Snowden of Big Sandy, TN.

Sons:  Charles M. Pearson Jr. of Big Sandy, TN.

          Gary L. (Paulette) Pearson of Big Sandy, TN.

Brothers: Bill (Denise) Pearson of Navarre, FL.

Grandchildren: Stephanie, Jennifer, Josh, Hannah, Gary Jr. Mandy, Andrew, Annie

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN. Burial will follow at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Big Sandy, TN.

Visitation with the Pearson family will be on Friday August 2, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN. and again on Saturday August 3, 2019 from 11:00-2:00 pm which is service time.
