Cecil Larry McGowan

Mr. Cecil Larry McGowan, age 90, of Camden, TN. passed away on August 15, 2019 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Mr. McGowan was born on July 27, 1929 to the late Cecil T. McGowan and Cassie Biggart McGowan. He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline “Jackie” Pinson McGowan and brothers and sisters Adriel McGowan, Gearld McGowan, Jessie McGowan, Elbert McGowan, Ivan McGowan, LaNelle Essary, Delmar McGowan, and Ruth Clarke. Mr. McGowan was a veteran with U.S. Army and a retired Boilermaker with TVA and Boilermakers Local 455 as a boilermaker welder, he was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church in Lavinia, TN., he was a 3^rd degree Mason, Eastern Star, 50 Year Mason and a member of Camden Lodge 179, member of BPOE 2156 and member of Woodman of the World.

Sister: Opel McGowan of Jackson, TN.

Brother and Sister in Law: Tony & Brenda Pinson of Bruceton, TN.  

Several Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Stockdale-Malin in Camden, TN. with Bro. Steve Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Camden City Cemetery.

Visitation with the McGowan family will be Monday August 19, 2019 from 11:00-2:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin in Camden, TN.
