Bobba Jean Moody

Ms. Bobba Jean Moody, age 85, of New yotk City, NY, formerly of Big Sandy, TN, passed away at her residence in Columbus, OH, on Monday, March 29, 2021. She was born on October 27, 1935, to the late Charles and Alene Palmer Moody in Big Sandy, also preceded in death by a sister; Sudie Ann Moody, nieces; Sandra Alene (Wilson) Larson, Donna Marie Wilson and nephew; Charles Lee Wilson. She retired as a Social Worker and Psychotherapist from New York State Psychiatric Institute in an affiliation with Columbia University. Bobba was a 1953 graduate of Big Sandy High School and she was Church of Christ, by faith. She lived a vibrant and wonderful life full of a rewarding career with many friends and loved ones, and frequent worldwide travels.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 3, 2021, at McRae’s Chapel Cemetery in Big Sandy, TN, with Gary Smithson officiating.
