Betty Lou Corneil

Ms. Betty L. Corneil, age 85, of Big Sandy, TN, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, at her residence.  She was born January 1, 1936, in Princeton, IN, to the late Elvis Rex Angle and Sadie Dill Angle, also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clyde Corneil; brothers and sisters, Bunk Angle and John Angle; sisters, Eby Jane Loyd and Joanne Springer.  Betty was the retired owner of Reith Resort, an auxiliary member of Big Sandy American Legion, and she supported the Big Sandy Senior Center for years with her baking skills showcased by many peach cobblers and other tasty dessert treats.  She was Christian in faith and served her community well.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 11, 2021 at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home, Big Sandy at 11 AM, with Bro. Dale Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow in Benton Memory Gardens, in Camden, TN.

Visitation with the Corneil family will be Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 5 – 8 PM, at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy.  Then on Friday, June 11, from 9 – 11 AM, which is service time.
