Bella Jane Latimer passed away on August 21, 2020. She was born in Benton County, Tennessee, on May 24, 1933, to the late Thetus H. and Beulah Fisher Latimer.
Bella Jane lived her entire life in the community she loved. After her retirement from Genesco, Corp., she worked for Hallmark, stocking local stores with cards, which allowed her to visit with her many friends when out and about.
She was an active member of Cowell's Chapel United Methodist Church in Camden. Over the years, she held many positions in the church, including Sunday School teacher and pianist.
Bella Jane was preceded in death by her sisters - Reba Mae, Rebecca, Christine and Allene.
Survived to cherish memories are cousins, friends and her church family. She will be greatly missed by her faithful companion, Lucky.
In light of the unusual health climate at the moment, the family understands if you wish to privately celebrate Bella Jane's life and legacy by remembering the significant impacts that she had on your lives. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, August 27 at 1:00 pm at Cowell’s Chapel Cemetery, with Bro. John Holcomb and Sis. Sylvia Newman officiating.
