Allan Buford Ralls

Mr. Allan Buford Ralls, age 89, of Puryear, TN passed away August 25, 2020. Mr. Ralls was born November 2, 1930 in Big Sandy, TN to the late John Ralls and Ethel Berry Ralls. Mr. Ralls spent his career with The Nashville Gas Company and retired as a Director of Risk Management with Piedmont Natural Gas. Upon retirement he founded Quality Care Consultants and Ralls Construction. He was an Air Force Veteran participating in the Berlin Air Lift and a member of the McWhirtersville #375 and Big Sandy #754 Masonic Lodge for 63 years. In his lifetime he exceled in sports and enjoyed hunting with friends, water skiing, fishing and was a private pilot. Always handy and technically gifted, he built his own single engine airplanes, ski boats and restored automobiles over the years and enjoyed sharing his creations with friends and family.

God blessed him in his final years as he was cared for by Katy and Chris Hummer, who were like family, and more recently by Geri Boyd and Jeri Dawn Leavelle of Peace of Mind Healthcare Advocate Services whom he dearly loved.

Mr. Ralls chose to be cremated. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020, 11 AM, at Crooked Creek Cemetery in Big Sandy, TN.
