Margaret L. Scarborough

Margaret L. Scarborough, 85, of Big Sandy, passed peacefully in Surfside Beach, SC., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 7, 1931 in Big Sandy, Tn., daughter of the late Carl Vernon and Pauline(Bewer)Wheatley Lowry. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded by her brother, Ernie Lowry. Margaret was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and attended Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Paris, Tennessee.She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Peggy Lively and husband, Charles of Surfside, SC, William C. Robinson and wife,Connie of Nashville, TN, Loren A. Robinson and wife, Betty of Woodstock, GA, Jay A. Scarborough of Lexington, KY, Wesley K. Scarborough of Big Sandy, TN, and Elaine Scarborough of Lexington, TN, sister, Hycinth Melton of Big Sandy, Tn., ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and six grand-dogs.A private prayer service will be held and formal services will be held at a later date in Tennessee.In lieu of flower, the family requests memorial donations be made in Margaret's memory to Lowery Cemetery Trust Fund, Bank of Camden in Camden, Tn.Bank of Camden--Lowry Cemetery Trust Fund or mail to Apex Bank(Bank of Camden) P.O.
