Big Sandy, TN--David R. Tracey, age 87 formerly of Ellisville, IL passed away at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Eiffel Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Paris, TN.He was born September 5, 1929 in Fulton County, IL to the late Charles "Dewey" and Nellie Knott Tracey. He marriedBetty T. Brown on April 4, 1952 in Kentucky. She preceded him in death. He was preceded in death by one daughter: Janet Robbins of Nashville, TN, three brothers: Everett, Duke, Victor, two sisters: Betty and Frances. He is survived by two daughters: Kathy(Rick)Butler of Big Sandy, TN, Lorrie(Mike)Flowers of Big Sandy, TN, also six grandchildren: Amanda(Bruce)Robertson, Deanna(Roy)Dedmon, Joshua(Charise)Robbins, Jessie Robbins, Jeremy(Michelle)Butler, Jennifer(Brian)Thomas, thirteen great grandchildren: Payten, Kinsley, Jenna, Essynce, Brendyn, Wyatt, Bryce, Drake, Kanten, Karter, Marlee, Scarlett and Jaxxin.He is survived by three sisters: Wanda Jones of Bushnell, Shirley(Russell)Rock and Beverly(John)McCone both of Fairview. one brother: Richard(Lynn)Tracey of Ellisville, along with many nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and he worked at Admiral/Maytag in Galesburg for 31 years, retired and moved to Big Sandy, TN on Kentucky Lake. He was a member of the Ellisville Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and playing music. He will be missed by his family and friends.Memorial Service will be January 14, 2017 1:00 PM at Ellisville Christian Church in Ellisville, Illinois. Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, rural Ellisville following service.
