Mary Jo Smothers

Mrs. Mary Jo Smothers, age 88 of Camden, TN passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Jackson Madison County Hospital. Mrs. Smother was born July 13, 1928 in Benton County to the late Joseph Melton and Gertrude Forrest Melton. She was, also preceded by her husbands: Raymond French and Buford Smothers, brothers: Aubrey Melton, James Melton, Grady Melton, Fairell "Maw" Melton, Fred Melton. She was a Retired Custodian at Benton County Board of Education and also, a member of The True Gospel Mission in Camden, TN. Survivors include;Son: Larry French of Camden, TNSister: Dorothy Cornett of Camden, TNGrandson: John French of Camden, TNGraveside Services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Flatwoods Cemetery in Camden, TN with Bro. Steve Townsend officiating.
