Robert Wayne "Bobby" Davis

Mr. Robert Wayne "Bobby" Davis, age 82 of Big Sandy, TN passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born on February 17, 1935 in Big Sandy, TN to the late Russell Davis and Thelna Dowdy Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruth Beechman Davis, one brother: Ray Davis, one son: Joe Davis.Survivors include:Son: Marty Davis of Big Sandy, TNDaughter: Katrina(David)Manning of Spring Branch, TXBrother: Billy Davis of Big Sandy, TNGrandchildren: Spencer(Nicole)Manning                      Rebecca DavisAn avid hunter, fisherman and trapper, Bobby was most at home in the Tennessee hills. He was widely known as the best tomato gardener in Benton County and shared his bounty with neighbors and friends. Bobby had a work ethic and loyalty that was admired by all. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, his sweet smile and warm heart will be sorely missed.Memorial Services will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Chapel in Big Sandy, TN with Bro.
