Willie Lee Hudson, Sr

Mr. Willie Lee Hudson Sr., age 89 of Camden, TN passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Camden General Hospital. Mr. Hudson was born June 16, 1928 to the late Evans Hudson and Hattie Bomar Hudson in Benton County. He was, also preceded in death by his wife: Evoila Tharpe Hudson, one daughter: Sharon Hudson also by four brother-in-laws Thado Tharpe, Earl Tharpe, Mayotha Tharpe and Ezell Tharpe and one sister-in-law Mae Emma Owens.  He worked for over 30 years at many places. He was a retired Boilermaker working at TVA for over 30 years, W & W Shell in Camden, Camden Funeral Home and Lockhart Motors and was a member of Williams Grove Baptist Church. Willie accepted Christ and was baptized at Williams grove Baptist church. He loved fishing and hunting and working. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilmakers, Iron Ship builders, Blacksmith's, Forgers and Helpers AFL-ClO, CFL. Willie was married to the late Evoila Tharpe on February 14,1949. To this union 10 kids were born. Willie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a special friend to many.   Survivors include:Sons: Verdell(Geneva)Tharpe of Paris, TN         James Tharpe of Camden, TN         Willie(Priscilla)Hudson Jr. of Paris, TN         Donnie Lee Hudson of Camden, TN         Kenny Hudson of Dickson, TN         Dain(Angela)Hudson of Camden, TNDaughters: Nora Towns of Paris, TN                 Elease Sims of Camden, TN                 Shirley Hudson  Boyd  of Camden, TN                 Neddie Vazgues of Clarksville, TNThirty-Seven GrandchildrenSeventy  Great GrandchildrenTwenty  Great Great Grandchildren Two Sister-in-law: Merl Tharpe and Alberta Tharpe Cousins: Robert, Della Mae, Annie Lou, and Betty Bomar Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 1:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home Chapel in Camden with Bro. Neal Capps officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation with the Hudson family will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Stockdale-Malin in Camden from 6:00-8:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 10:00-1:00 PM.
