Martina Byrd

Mrs. Martina Byrd, age 83 of Paris, TN passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Byrd was born April 13, 1934 in Big Sandy, TN to the late James McSwain and Lela Pinson McSwain. She was, also preceded in death by her husband: Shirley Byrd, two daughters: Karen Jane Byrd, Lisa Kathleen Byrd, one granddaughter: Kristie Pearson, two brothers: Basil McSwain, Dale McSwain, one sister; Janice McSwain Brewer, one sister-in-law: Luna Mae Todd,  one brother-in-law: Everett Byrd, in-laws: Walter and Viola Byrd. She was a homemaker and member of the Paris Church of God of Prophecy.Survivors include:Daughters: Glenda(Steve)Mohon of Dover, TN                 Paulette(Gary)Pearson of Big Sandy, TNSon: Larry(Emily)Byrd of Paris, TNBrother: Julian(Carol) McSwain of Paris, TNGrandchildren: Rhonda Ross, Gary Pearson, Mandy(Jimmie)Fry, Ginny Byrd, Sarah Byrd, Mary Byrd, Melanie ByrdSix Great GrandchildrenNumerous nieces and nephewsGraveside Services will be conducted Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:15 PM at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Big Sandy with Bro Roger Smith officiating.Visitation with the Byrd family will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy, TN.
