Robert J. Shunk, Sr of 801 Pencil Factory Road, Big Sandy, TN died Thursday, May 17, 2018 due to an auto accident.He attended school in Massona, NY. He served 20 years in the United States Navy and retired in 1999.He owned and operated "Poisdam Performance & RV" business for eight years in Potsdam, NY. He also worked for Fort Drum Auto Craft as an instructor and then Manager and retired in 1999.He enjoyed hunting and dancing. He was married to Jane Shunk for 52 years. The marriage ended in divorce. The couple had four children, Robert(Amy)Shunk, Adams Center, NY., Linda(Jeff)Markus, Cheyenne, WY., Wanda Shunk, Fulton, NY., and Donald(Tina)Shunk, Killeen, TX. He also has three granddaughters, Amanda Markus, Amber Markus, Emma Shunk, one grandson, J.J. Shunk-Hartzell, and one great grandson Samuel Shunk-Hartzell.
